Truth or hot air? Do you believe the Heene family really thought their 6-year-old, Falcon, was trapped inside their runaway helium balloon?
No. It seems like a publicity stunt.
- I don't think the balloon could have lifted the boy. The dad gives the balloon a push when its slow taking off. Definite hoax in my opinion
- The balloon could not have lifted the boy. If it had 50 lbs. in it, the gas inside would have balled up in the top of the balloon. The interior design could help the balloon keep its saucer shape but the the gas would pull the material and cause a more spherical shape.
